Connie Hu | Project Assistant + DJ

I grew up in Salem, Oregon but I am currently based in Seattle, Washington. I am a Project Assistant at an experiential marketing agency called Oasis Productions. We work with companies such as Nickelodeon, Honeywell, and Sprout to bring their events to life.  I also DJ.  I spin at concert venues, bars, and streetwear boutiques around Seattle and have performed at Capitol Hill Block Party and Upstream Music Festival. My passion for creating memorable experiences inspires my work.  Whether it be an event I helped producer or an event I provided the vibes for, I always strive to uplift people and make it something they remember. I love event planning & DJing because they allow me to be myself.  I am able to exercise my creativity, try different things, and meet new people.  I am constantly learning and being presented with challenges.  It is always fresh and exciting. My advice is to follow your intuition.  What is meant for you will always feel right.  When I was trying to decide on my career path, all of the options that were not for me felt forced.  Also, try your best to maintain a positive outlook and focus your time and energy on your passions. If you keep working to improve on them, opportunities will present themselves naturally and accordingly.
