I live in Austin, Texas, but I have been lucky enough to have art and fashion take me all over the world from New York to New Delhi. I am an artist and fashion designer. Having a background in fine art has been a heavy influence my fashion. I like to incorporate my art into my graphic design, textiles and color palette. I am inspired by everything around me. The whole world is basically source material that I can draw from. Art, music, and current culture are in constant play when it comes to being inspired and creative. I love street art because it is such a public form of art that is shared and I feel that fashion is very similar in that sense. I am also inspired by the other artists because art inspires more art. I feel that doing what you love is something that doesn't even feel like a choice, it is just something you feel compelled to do. For me, art and fashion are a means of self expression. It’s a way of creating something new and sharing it with the world, and that is very satisfying. 

 Some words of advice to anyone else that wants to pursue their passion is to never turn down an opportunity to experience something new! People say “follow your passion”, but not everyone has found their passion yet. Trying different things will increase the chance that you’ll find what you love to do. I think the next step comes easy, and that is to immerse yourself in what you love. It’s important to set goals. Know what do you want to achieve by pursuing what you’re passionate about. Finally, I believe it’s very helpful to find a mentor to guide and encourage you. It is incredible how much people are willing to help you once they see your passion and drive.
